A LITTLE

THE PERSONAL STUFF:
I'm a musician and nerd that loves books, movies, and good food. I enjoy Netflix, Golf, the Mountains, and Sci-Fi books. I love animals and have a Dog and Cat. I love exploring and finding new places to eat or grab an excellent cup of coffee. THE TECHNICAL STUFF: I've had the pleasure of working in multiple fields over the course my professional life and each have added their flavor to my skill-set. I'm very well versed in the Adobe Creative Suite (Over 10 years experience in Photoshop, Premier, Aftereffects, Lightroom - with working knowledge of most other Apps in the suite), Content management systems like HootSuite, and various other system I will mention briefly. For the last five years I've been employed at a large Church in Central Alabama with almost a thousand active members. I oversee much of the Sunday morning experience which has afforded me skills with: ProPresenter, Live Sound Production (Both digital and Analog consoles), DMX Lighting Desk control (particularly HOG consoles), Live Video Production, and the system maintenance that comes with these complex systems. As the Creative Director for the Church I also oversee the video production and creative design throughout the week. I work extensively with DSLR Cameras, Creating digital and print media, creating motion graphics, team leadership, video scripting, and various admin responsibilities. Before going into full-time ministry I worked for a restaurant management company that oversaw the operation of 9 restaurants. I did marketing and design for these stores, working closely with the CEO and VP of Operations to create content and strategy for the restaurants. The highlight of this was designing and implementing a digital menu board system in each location. I've also worked free-lance over the last 10 years creating content and consulting for some incredible companies in Alabama including Jack's Fast-Food Restaurants, Gorrie-Regan, ClearWinds Technologies, and many others. I've worked with churches, authors, bands, magicians, and pretty much everything in-between. Above all things, I approach my work as a "Creative Problem Solver." Nothing is impossible if you put your mind (and a few well worded Google searches) to it! FUN FACTS ABOUT ME: • I served as a Youth Pastor for over a Year and a Half. • I have a small Recording Studio and love to make music. • I was once flown to California to pitch an ad to DC Comics. |
